The Christmas tree is up and ready for the Christmas tree festival!
Ever since the Christmas tree festival started at St Johns Burlington Church in Bridlington we have participated, we are not church goers but we do like to help the local community and spread cheer where we can. I don’t like decorating Christmas trees mainly because of the lack of skill I have in doing so, but also because in my opinion they always look bad once I has finished and as though the box of years old decorations have just been thrown on from a great height , but that doesn’t stop us and if asked we just say it’s ‘traditional style’ with a sarcastic twang.
This year the Christmas tree festival is running from 1-17th December with various activities taking place and we decided to incorporate trading card games and miniatures with Space Marines, Stormcast Eternals, Pokémon, Magic the Gathering and Yu Gi Oh all making baubles adding to the chaos that is the Mighty Lancer Games tree.
If you are local to Bridlington make sure you pop along and see all the beautiful trees (and ours), support the local charity and have fun.
