Warhammer 40,000 Battleforces are back for the festive season!

It's one of the big dates in the Warhammer calendar, and this year's Warhammer 40,000 Battleforce boxes have been revealed! Every festive season, Games Workshop treats us to a selection of limited-release Battleforces, packed with miniatures for a lucky selection of factions. These boxes are always worth a look. Whether you're thinking about starting a brand-new army, adding some serious reinforcements to your existing force, or simply taking advantage of a great-value collection of miniatures, there's plenty to get excited about. Of course, the contents will suit some armies better than others, but if one of these boxes fits your plans, it could be a fantastic addition to your collection. As these are limited releases, availability can be tight, and once they're gone, they're gone. That's why we're opening a Priority Pre-Order (PPO) List to help our customers get the best possible chance of securing the Battleforce they're after. This year, you can tell us which Battleforce you'd most like, nominate a backup choice, and even let us know if you'd be interested in both! Read on to see what's on offer and how to register your interest. Space Marines: Indomitus Task Force A versatile foundation for a Space Marines army, the Indomitus Task Force brings together a bit of everything: dependable infantry, elite Terminators, a powerful Dreadnought and characters to lead the charge. Captain in Terminator Armour Chaplain Redemptor Dreadnought 5 Terminators 5 Assault Intercessors with Jump Packs 10 Intercessors Whether you're building a new Space Marines force or adding some reliable firepower and staying power to an existing army, this box offers a versatile mix of units. Chaos Knights: Helhunt Lance Why send one terrifying engine of destruction when you can send five? The Helhunt Lance pairs a mighty Chaos Knight with four War Dogs, giving you a fearsome force of towering war machines and nimble flankers. Knight Ruinator, alternatively buildable as a Knight Abominant, Knight Rampager or Knight Desecrator 4 War Dog Stalkers, alternatively buildable as War Dog Brigands or War Dog Karnivores If you fancy stomping across the battlefield with a collection of enormous, heavily armed Knights, this one should be firmly on your radar. Orks: Armoured Blitzmob OI! Dis one's for da Boyz! The Armoured Blitzmob combines a hard-hitting Ork leader, a mob of Boyz and some seriously intimidating machinery. Load up, drive fast and give your opponent a proper Orky welcome. Warboss in Mega Armour Battlewagon, alternatively buildable as a Gunwagon Deff Dread 3 Meganobz 10 Ork Boyz With a Battlewagon, a Deff Dread and a collection of heavily armoured Orks, there's plenty here for players who like to get stuck into the fighting at close range. And naturally, the option to build the Battlewagon as a Gunwagon gives you another way to bring the dakka. Space Wolves: Champions of Fenris Fenris sends some of its finest to war in this box, led by the Great Wolf himself. The Champions of Fenris is all about elite, hard-hitting infantry, with a formidable collection of Wolf Guard Terminators at its heart. Logan Grimnar Arjac Rockfist 15 Wolf Guard Terminators If you love the idea of marching a mass of heavily armoured Space Wolves into battle, backed by two iconic characters, this could be a particularly tempting addition to your collection. Blood Angels: Angelus Assault Force The Blood Angels have never been shy about launching a spectacular assault, and the Angelus Assault Force gives them plenty of tools for doing exactly that. With jump-pack infantry descending from above and a Brutalis Dreadnought bearing down on the enemy, subtlety isn't really the plan. Commander Dante Blood Angels Chaplain with Jump Pack Death Company Brutalis Dreadnought 3 Sanguinary Guard 5 Death Company Marines with Jump Packs Blood Angels Upgrade Frame For Blood Angels players who favour aggressive assaults and getting into the thick of the action, this box brings together a striking mix of characters, elite warriors and heavy support. Chaos Space Marines: Cult of Destruction Big guns, daemon engines and some seriously nasty infantry make the Cult of Destruction a tempting prospect for Chaos Space Marines players. Although the contents are particularly fitting for the Iron Warriors, there's nothing stopping you from putting them to work in another Chaos warband. Warpsmith Defiler Venomcrawler 2 Obliterators 5 Havocs 3 Mutilators With a Defiler and Venomcrawler backed up by heavy weapons specialists and brutal close-combat troops, this box offers plenty of ways to bring some serious destructive power to the battlefield. Necrons: Disciples of the Nekrosor The Necrons aren't exactly known for their gentle approach to reclaiming the galaxy, and the Disciples of the Nekrosor bring some particularly formidable reinforcements. With two imposing centrepiece characters supported by familiar Necron units, this box has plenty to offer those looking to expand their dynasties. C'tan Shard of the Nightbringer Nekrosor Ammentar 3 Ophydian Destroyers Canoptek Doomstalker 10 Necron Warriors 3 Canoptek Scarab Swarms The Nightbringer and Nekrosor Ammentar make for an imposing pair, while the accompanying Destroyers, Doomstalker, Warriors and Scarabs provide a mix of battlefield roles to support your growing Necron force. How does the Battleforce Priority Pre-Order List work? We've designed our PPO system to give our customers the best possible chance of securing these highly sought-after releases without having to rely entirely on the Saturday morning pre-order rush. This time, the form lets you tell us a little more about what you're after. There are three dropdowns, so here's what you need to know before signing up. First choice – required: Select the Battleforce you most want to secure. This is your main preference, and you must choose one to submit the form. Second choice – optional: If your first choice isn't available, let us know which other Battleforce you'd be interested in instead. You can leave this blank if you only want one particular box. Please choose a different Battleforce from your first choice. Interested in both? – optional: If we'd be able to offer you both your first and second choices together, would you like the opportunity to order both? Select Yes or No. If you have a second choice but leave this field blank, we'll assume you're only interested in one box. A quick note about your choices: selecting the same Battleforce as both your first and second choice won't improve your chances of getting it, and it won't secure you two copies. Please use the second dropdown to nominate a genuine alternative. We want to make the process as fair and straightforward as possible for everyone. What happens after I sign up? Enter your email address and submit the form above. You'll receive an email asking you to confirm your interest. You must click the confirmation link to be added to the PPO list. We don't yet know the official pre-order date, our prices, Games Workshop's RRP or the number of Battleforces we'll be allocated. Once Games Workshop confirms our allocation, we'll work through the confirmed PPO registrations and allocate stock as fairly as possible, taking your stated preferences into account. We'll email you on the Friday before pre-orders open to let you know what we've been able to secure for you. If we've secured a Battleforce for you, we'll send your invoice at or shortly after 10:00am on the official pre-order Saturday. You'll have a fair period to pay your invoice. We typically allow 3–5 days, and we're happy to hold an order longer if you need a little extra time. Just let us know so we know what's happening. For most Games Workshop releases, our allocations are sufficient to cover the customers who register their interest. However, Battleforces are limited releases and some are exceptionally popular, so we can't guarantee that everyone will receive their first choice, or that we'll be able to fulfil every request. By registering interest ahead of time, you're helping us understand demand and plan our order as effectively as possible. We'll do our best to allocate the stock we receive fairly, and we'll let you know the outcome before the public pre-order opens wherever possible. Important: joining this PPO is a registration of interest, not an order or a guarantee of stock. We cannot accept orders or reveal prices before the official Games Workshop pre-order window opens. This mailing list is exclusively for the 2026 Warhammer 40,000 Battleforce releases. Your details will be used to manage your registration, communicate your allocation and, where applicable, send your order invoice. Joining this PPO will not subscribe you to our general marketing emails unless you're already signed up to our main mailing list. If you've got your eye on one of this year's Battleforces, don't leave it to chance. Choose your preferred box, let us know if there's a suitable backup, and get yourself onto the Priority Pre-Order List above.
