The Warhammer Age of Sigmar 2026 Battleforces have been revealed!

It's that time of year again! Games Workshop has unveiled this year's festive-season Warhammer Age of Sigmar Battleforce boxes, and there's plenty for the Mortal Realms' generals to get excited about. These limited-release boxes are a highlight of the Warhammer calendar. Whether you're looking to start a new army, reinforce a force you've been building for years, or simply take advantage of a fantastic collection of miniatures, a Battleforce can be a great addition to your hobby plans. This year's selection features six factions, from the thunderous might of the Stormcast Eternals to the shambling horrors of the Nighthaunt, with plenty of cavalry, champions and monstrous muscle in between. As always, these are limited releases, and availability can be tight. We're opening a Priority Pre-Order (PPO) List to help our customers get the best possible chance of securing the Battleforce they're after. Just like our Warhammer 40,000 Battleforce list, this form lets you nominate your first choice, select a backup option, and tell us whether you'd be interested in purchasing both if we can secure them for you. We'll explain exactly how it works below, but first, let's take a look at this year's boxes! Stormcast Eternals: Annihilation Host When subtlety simply won't do, send in the Stormcast. The Annihilation Host is built around a formidable collection of heavy infantry, led by the mighty Lord-Commander Bastian Carthalos. With a mixture of elite protectors and devastating hammer-wielding warriors, this force is ready to bring Sigmar's judgement to the battlefield. Lord-Commander Bastian Carthalos Lord-Relictor Lord-Celestant 3 Praetors 6 Annihilators 3 Annihilators with Meteoric Grandhammers If you like your Stormcast Eternals heavily armoured, hard-hitting and capable of making a spectacular entrance, this could be the Battleforce for you. Cities of Sigmar: Knights of Hammerhal Make way for the cavalry! The Knights of Hammerhal brings together Tahlia Vedra, Lioness of the Parch, a Freeguild Cavalier-Marshal and a full unit of Freeguild Cavaliers. It's a focused force built around speed, mobility and the devastating impact of a well-timed charge. Tahlia Vedra, Lioness of the Parch Freeguild Cavalier-Marshal 10 Freeguild Cavaliers Whether you're expanding an existing Cities of Sigmar army or looking for an impressive mounted centrepiece around which to build a new force, this box offers plenty of character and battlefield presence. Maggotkin of Nurgle: Plaguesworn Host Grandfather Nurgle's followers are bringing a particularly unpleasant collection of reinforcements to the Mortal Realms. The Plaguesworn Host offers a varied mix of champions, resilient infantry, swarming creatures and mobile cavalry, giving Maggotkin players plenty of options for spreading their particular brand of pestilence. Harbinger of Decay Lord of Blights 3 Sloven Knights 5 Putrid Blightkings 10 Rotswords 14 Pox-Wretches 6 Mire Kelpies This is a diverse collection of Nurgle's finest, making it an appealing starting point for a new Maggotkin army or a way to bolster an existing force with additional units. Just try not to think too hard about what those models are covered in. Orruk Warclans: Grunta Stampede OI! MAKE WAY! The Ironjawz are bringing the big gruntas, and they're not exactly known for stopping to ask directions. The Grunta Stampede puts two mighty Maw-Gruntas at the centre of an all-out assault, supported by a stampeding unit of Gore-Grunta cavalry. If you prefer your battles fast, loud and full of angry Orruks riding enormous beasts, this one should be right up your alley. Tuskboss on Maw-Grunta, alternatively buildable as a Maw-Grunta Gouger or Maw-Grunta with Hakkin' Krew Maw-Grunta Gouger, alternatively buildable as a Tuskboss on Maw-Grunta or Maw-Grunta with Hakkin' Krew 6 Gore-Gruntas Those huge Maw-Gruntas provide the heavy-hitting punch, while the Gore-Gruntas follow up with a charge of their own. It's a suitably brutal collection for Ironjawz players looking to turn the battlefield into a stampede. Nighthaunt: Court of the Undying King All souls belong to Nagash. If anyone has forgotten that little detail, the Court of the Undying King is here to remind them. This spectral host is led by Nagash himself, Supreme Lord of the Undead, with a collection of ghostly warriors and terrifying cavalry to bring the living to heel. Nagash, Supreme Lord of the Undead 2 Dreadblade Harrows 10 Dreadscythe Harridans 10 Bladegheist Revenants 10 Grimghast Reapers With Nagash as the imposing centrepiece and a substantial collection of Nighthaunt infantry alongside him, the Court of the Undying King is an exciting prospect for Death players looking to expand their spectral forces. Slaves to Darkness: Legion of Damnation The forces of Chaos are marching, and the Legion of Damnation brings a formidable collection of armoured warriors to the fight. Led by a Chaos Lord on Daemonic Mount, this elite warband combines Chaos Knights, Chaos Warriors, Chaos Chosen and the terrifying Varanguard. Chaos Lord on Daemonic Mount 5 Chaos Chosen 3 Varanguard 5 Chaos Knights 10 Chaos Warriors This is a powerful-looking collection for players who favour the heavily armoured legions of the Dark Gods. Whether you're adding to an existing Slaves to Darkness army or planning a new force, the Legion of Damnation offers a formidable group of warriors ready to march on the Mortal Realms. How does the Age of Sigmar Battleforce Priority Pre-Order List work? Our Priority Pre-Order Lists are designed to make securing highly anticipated Games Workshop releases as straightforward as possible. Instead of relying entirely on the public pre-order rush, you can register your interest in advance, giving us a better idea of demand and allowing us to allocate our stock as fairly as possible once Games Workshop confirms our allocation. For this year's Battleforces, we've added three dropdowns to the registration form. Here's how to use them: First choice – required: Select the Battleforce you'd most like to secure. You must choose one to submit the form. Second choice – optional: If your first choice isn't available, you can nominate a different Battleforce as a backup. If you're only interested in one particular box, simply leave this field blank. Interested in both? – optional: If we can offer you both your first and second choices, would you be happy to purchase both in the same order? Select Yes or No. If you have a second choice but leave this field blank, we'll assume you're only interested in receiving one box. A quick note about your preferences: Please choose a different Battleforce for your second choice rather than selecting the same box twice. Doing so won't improve your chances of securing your preferred box or entitle you to two copies. The second choice is there to give us a genuine alternative if we can't fulfil your first preference. What happens after I sign up? Enter your email address and submit the form above. You'll receive an email asking you to confirm your interest. You must click the confirmation link to be added to the PPO list. We don't yet know the official pre-order date, our prices, Games Workshop's RRP or how many copies of each Battleforce we'll be allocated. We cannot take orders or reveal pricing before the official pre-order window opens. Once Games Workshop confirms our allocation, we'll work through the confirmed registrations and allocate stock as fairly as possible, taking your preferences into account. We'll email you on the Friday before pre-orders open to let you know what we've been able to secure for you. If we've secured a Battleforce for you, we'll send your invoice at or shortly after 10:00am on the official pre-order Saturday. You'll have a fair period to pay your invoice. We typically allow 3–5 days, and we're happy to hold an order longer if you need a little extra time. Just let us know so we know what's happening. For most Games Workshop pre-orders, our allocation is sufficient to cover everyone who has registered their interest. However, Battleforces are limited releases, and demand for certain boxes can be exceptionally high. We can't guarantee that everyone will receive their first choice, that we'll be able to fulfil every request, or that we'll have enough stock to offer customers both choices. If we can secure both of your selected Battleforces and you've told us you're interested in both, we'll have the opportunity to offer you both in one order. Selecting Yes doesn't guarantee that we'll have the stock to do so, but it lets us know you're happy to take both if we're able to allocate them to you. By registering your interest early, you're also helping us gauge demand and plan our order with Games Workshop. We work hard to get enough stock to meet customer demand and to make the process as smooth as possible, and the PPO system helps us do that. Please remember: joining the PPO is a registration of interest, not an order or a guarantee of stock. We cannot accept orders or reveal prices before the official Games Workshop pre-order window opens. This mailing list is exclusively for the 2026 Warhammer Age of Sigmar Battleforces. Your details will be used to manage your registration, communicate your allocation and, where applicable, send your order invoice. Joining this PPO will not subscribe you to our general marketing emails unless you're already signed up to our main mailing list. If you've got your eye on one of this year's Battleforces, now's the time to let us know. Choose your first preference, add a backup if you'd like one, and tell us if you'd be interested in both. We'll do our best to help you get the reinforcements you're after!
