Warhammer: The Old World
Tonight I played my first game of Warhammer: The Old World, and it was awesome! Much of this was down to the company, just chilled out gaming to learn the rules. We played around 1350 points per player in a four man game, Bretonnia (x2) vs Goblins and Dark Elves. I won’t go into the details of the game in this post, but suffice to say that a Bretonnian Duke on Hippogriff is an absolute beast and definitely was MVP. Looking forward to the next game 😁
Two months later....
So I did my first blog post with great intentions, and then got caught up doing a bunch of other stuff. After finishing the Napoleonic riflemen, I set about a horde of British Line Infantry from Perry Miniatures, and bit off a lot more than I could chew. 40+ infantry and a troop of light dragoons and I was overwhelmed with figures in the painting table, so I packed them safely into the cupboard for a break and set about the Aliens - Another Glorious Day in the Corps starter set. I’ve finished the aliens after trying a range of paint...
