Mary Fields a metal miniature by Bad Squiddo Games sculpted by Alan Marsh. A miniature for your tabletop gaming and hobby needs to represent Mary Fields also known as Stagecoach Mary, the first black woman to be employed as a star route postwoman in the United States and drove the route from 1895 to 1903 starting this jon in her 60s. Before this she was born a slave, worked in the household of Edmund Dunne, became Mother Superior of Ursuline convent  but was barred by the bishop after several complaints and her hearty temperament and profanity made the religious community uncomfortable, she also opened a tavern but it closed due to bankruptcy, leading a full and varied life before becoming 'Stagecoach Mary'. She carried multiple firearms driving the route with horses and a mule names Moses, she never missed a day and became a respected public figure and when Montana passed a law forbidding women to enter saloons the Mayor granted her an exemption. She retired at the age of 71 but she was still so well respected that the townspeople rebuilt her home after it caught fire in 1912. Mary Fields died in 1914.

Approximately 28mm scale.
